Sheryl Mills is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northwestern State University in 2003 she enjoyed 15 fulfilling years at the bedside gaining experience in various specialties including cardiovascular intensive care unit, medical intensive care unit, cardiac cath lab, long-term care, and vascular access. Feeling called to help her patients further, Sheryl obtained a Master of Science in Nursing in 2018 from Walden University. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Critical Care Nurses.
Since childhood Sheryl has believed nursing was a calling for her life. The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of her patients is something she considers a privilege. Adopting a holistic approach, she takes all aspects of health into consideration when treating her patients. Sheryl works with her patients to formulate a treatment plan that is personalized to best fit their needs and aid them in achieving optimal health.
In her spare time, Sheryl enjoys the outdoors, yoga, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. She is a proud mother of a very athletic nine-year-old boy so when she is not in the clinic, she is likely at the ball fields.
