Danella Thompson, N.P.

Burleson Primary Care

Having begun her career within the pharmaceutical field, Danella developed a strong desire to pursue a healthcare vocation in which she could enjoy increased personal interaction with patients. This is what led her to the field of nursing. She worked as a cardiovascular intensive care nurse at Medical City Fort Worth where she received many accolades including both the Daisy Award and Fort Worth Business Presses’ Healthcare Hero. Still, she recognized that the ability to build and keep lasting one-on-one relationships was missing. As both a family and acute care nurse practitioner, Danella believes in the melding of holistic and conventional interventions to improve patient health and well-being.
Born in Norman, Oklahoma, Danella moved to the DFW metroplex as a teenager. She now lives in Alvarado, TX with her husband and two children. When she is not relaxing with her cats, she spends her off-time traveling and creating new memories with her family.
