At our Irving primary care clinic, our physicians are board certified in internal medicine. We are fully focused on relationship-based care that seeks to prevent illness, instead of merely treat symptoms when they become Internal medicine and family medicine bad enough to need help. With a fully holistic approach to healthcare, we can address every aspect of your well-being and help. We accept both Medicare and Medicaid, in addition to many HMO and PPO insurances.

Jose J. Lozano, DO, MS, FACOI

Burleson Primary Care Physician

Dr. Lozano was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He moved to North Texas to pursue his lifetime dream of becoming a physician. Dr. Lozano obtained his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth where he was nominated to serve as the clinic chief during his residency.
Dr. Lozano believes in empowering his patients with knowledge of their own health, body and mind. As a former biology adjunct assistant professor in El Paso, he enjoys explaining and teaching disease processes, medication interactions and overall good health habits so that he and his patients can work together as a team.
In his off time, Dr. Lozano enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
